Paulie takes the 2008 Nascar Whelen All-American Series late model Championship at All American Speedway

9/7/08: Winning The Championship (and Running The Win Total to 11 Along The Way)

2008 has been full of exciting, heart-pounding, thrilling weekends; they were all dull compared to this o­ne. Going into this weekend, we knew that we'd need to put the Bill McAnally Racing Ruth's Chris / Aim Sports Toyota Camry in Victory Lane not o­nce, but twice, in order to win the championship. The team pulled together, worked their tails off, and made it happen, making us the 2008 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Champions and running our win total to 11 at Roseville, California's All-American Speedway.

This week was certainly o­ne that I’ll never forget. As if beginning life as a college student when I moved into my dorm at Duke University wasn’t enough, our Ruth’s Chris / AiM Sports team brought our ninth win of 2008 home to BMR and Toyota after an extraordinarily exciting race.

7/16/08 Blog: Win #5 for the Ruth’s Chris Toyota

This past weekend was o­ne of the most bittersweet of my life. The sweetness came o­n Saturday night, where after working tirelessly o­n Friday (staying at the BMR SHop until 1 in the morning) and Saturday, our Ruth's Chris Toyota Camry picked up its fifth win. Unfortunately, calls to close friends and NASCAR Technical Director Steve Peterson to inform him of the good news were never returned.
